As a web-based collaboration platform, Discover allows users to upload and share projects that can be worked on by musicians all over the world. With support and integration for Reason 8.1, Reason Essentials 8, Take (vocal recording app for iOS), and Figure (easy to use music production app for iOS), Propellerhead Discover is the central feed of new musical ideas ready to inspire – Just one click to open something interesting that you want to include in your own music, and one click to add your own contribution.

This flexibility means that wherever you are, you can be involved in near-real-time music creation with band members, or even like-minded strangers. As you drop tracks into Discover, they are immediately available for others to open (and to develop) using Reason desktop software, or the Take app.

Reason Essentials 8 may be a cut-down version of the full Reason 8, but it is still feature-packed and very powerful. With unlimited tracks, loads of virtual instruments and effects, and many audio and MIDI manipulation functions, Reason Essentials is a great way to get started in recording and music production.
