Fairlight have announced that they will be changing their name to 'Peter Vogel Instruments' in anticipation of a number of new products that they are planning to release.

They illustrated this fact at NAMM 2013 by displaying a Fairlight CMI-30A, the 30th anniversary edition of the Fairlight CMI synth/sampler, which played a monumental part in the sound of 80s Pop music.

Shiny! These are the newly announced Tascam audio interfaces. The left and central models are the US-366 and the interface on the right is the US-322.

The US-366 is a USB 2.0 audio interface with 24-bit/192kHz recording, an onboard digital mixer, onboard input and send effects and optical/digital IO. It also features an optional remote controller. The US-322 is like the US-366 but minus the optical/digital IO and remote option and it can only record up to a quality of 96kHz (although that's still way higher than CD quality)!
