The Akai MPC Fly is the first MPC unit that has been designed specifically for use with the iPad 2. The Fly fuses together a portable and simplistic, yet highly functional Akai MPC design with a compact case that allows you to slide your iPad 2 right into it and then fold everything away for safely transporting it around.
The Fly features 16 genuine MPC pads with classic MPC functions such as Note Repeat and Swing, a built-in rechargeable battery and it works with virtually any Core MIDI app. However, it is at its most powerful when used in combination with Akai's new Fly App. This application features an intuitive interface that mirrors the controls of the Fly hardware, a built-in four track mixer, an included sound library with a host of MPC samples, record and overdub modes, built-in effects, time correct, a host of sampling capabilities and a lot more!
