News flash! MOTU have announced the latest version of the industry-standard 828 Mk3 - and this time, it's Hybrid!
The MOTU 828 Mk3 Hybrid incorporates both Firewire and USB2 connectivity, allowing it to be connected to a huge range of Mac and Windows computers. The new model uses FireWire "Type B" connectors, and ships with a 9pin to 9pin FireWire cable!
The MOTU 828 Mk3 Hybrid contains ten channels of pristine 192kHz analog recording and playback, combined with sixteen channels of ADAT digital I/O and stereo S/PDIF, and as a standalone mixer, the 828mk3 provides 28 separate inputs and 30 separate outputs, including dedicated main outs on XLRs and two front panel headphone outs.
