NAMM 2012: TC HELICON VOICELIVE PLAY & PLAY GTX
Posted on Wed 25 January 2012 in Live Sound and Light
We've got two new products from TC Helicon to tell you about, both from their outstanding VoiceLive series.
The first product is called the VoiceLive Play, a harmony and effects unit for vocalists. It includes over 200 presets, an Aux input (with Voice Cancel) for plugging in an external device such as an MP3 player to sing along with and RoomSense technology, which makes use of embedded microphones to automatically set the key for harmonies.
In addition to all this, you can also download new presets for free each month and the handy 'Hit' feature means that you can gradually increase the intensity of an effect throughout a performance by tapping a switch.

The VoiceLive Play GTX is a step up from the standard Play unit. It features everything that the standard Play features, but it also combines it with guitar processing, making the GTX the first all-in-one unit of its kind. It features a whole selection of guitar effects, amp simulations and artist presets and the special guitar input means that it can also be used to instantly set the key for vocal harmonies.
