I'm guessing that most people have heard of Coldplay, but I would put good money on the fact that significantly less of you have heard of Rik Simpson. Well, prepare to be introduced, because this is the guy that produced their latest album, Mylo Xyloto and a number of their previous albums. In fact, he even won a Grammy Award for his work on Viva la Vida! It's not just Coldplay that Rik has worked with either, as he also has a host of other big name artists on his CV, including Jay-Z, PJ Harvey, Kasabian and Portishead.
