The Warm Audio TB12 Tone Beast is a preamp that allows users to add character to their recordings by selecting between a Steel or 50% Nickel CineMag Transformer. These characteristics can be exaggerated further by saturating the signal, or you can clean things up using the transformer bypass switch to remove the output Transformers entirely from the circuit.
In addition, the TB12 features a Discrete Op amp switch, providing both vintage and cleaner op anp styles. There'a also a Capacitor selection switch, which provides for even more sonic options. This switch gives a selection of both Electrolytic and Tantalum capacitors for varying warmth and character.

On top of this, there's also an insert point for connecting up other hardware processors, an 80Hz hi-pass filter, polarity reverse, phantom power, a -20dB pad; balanced XLR, TRS and 1/4 inch instrument inputs; balanced XLR and TRS outputs, an LED VU meter and 71dB of gain.
