Røde announce a brand new Stereo version of their successful DSLR-aimed VideoMic Pro! The Stereo VideoMic Pro (SVMP) is a compact stereo mic that has been developed using technology from the original VideoMic Pro, but it features a much shorter barrel, containing a matched XY stereo pair of Condenser Capsules to give a detailed and realistic representation of the stereo field. Plus, it's also compatible with the existing Stereo VideoMic’s Dead Kitten windshield.

The Røde Stereo VideoMic Pro is a compact and affordable, one product stereo solution for anyone looking to improve the audio of their DSLR or video camera, without requiring any additional equipment. It offers an advantageous 20db boost as found on the VideoMic Pro, an essential feature to improve noise floor for DSLR, and has a life of around 100 hours from a single 9v battery.
