Korg KrossKorg have just announced that the Kross will be joining their already impressive family of workstation keyboards, which currently includes the Kronos, Kronos X and Krome series'.

The Kross is a mobile synthesiser keyboard with a fantastic selection of features, ideal for both portable, live and studio work. Its mobility is enhanced with an input for directly connecting a microphone, a built-in audio recorder for capturing your ideas and performances, and it can be powered by 6 AA batteries!

The Korg Kross will be available in a 61-key version and a larger 88-note model, so you can choose the one to suit your needs. They each come packed with a selection of rich, professional sounds and a Sound Selector function, which makes finding the right sound quick and easy. You can also save up to 64 of your favourite sounds as 'favourites' for instant recall - another fantastic live performance tool.

Kross keyboards will feature Korg's professional EDS-i sound engine as well as 7 effects, which can all be used at the same time if required. They will also feature layer and split functions and every Kross will have a built-in step sequencer (taken from the Electribe), a 16-track MIDI sequencer, a drum track and an arpeggiator. You will also be able to plug the Kross into your computer via USB for easy integration with your software DAW.
