BASS STATION II PERFORMANCE VIDEO

Posted on Fri 16 August 2013 in General News

Novation Bass Station IINovation have recently released a new video, showing Continuum giving an impressive live performance with two Bass Station IIs, a Novation Launchpad S and an electric guitar, which is fed through one of the Bass Station's via a Focusrite Scarlett interface to show how the synth can process external signals.

The Bass Station II is a brand new monophonic analogue synthesiser, which is based on the original iconic Bass Station from the early 90s. However, while the Bass Station II is more than capable of creating those oldskool basses and leads that the original became famed for, it can also do so much more...

The Bass Station II has a much bigger, more powerful analogue sound compared to the original and is a much more versatile synth, capable of creating everything from oldskool squelches to modern, in-your-face distorted sounds. The Bass Station II comes with a load more features compared to the original Bass Station as well, such as more waveforms (including a real analogue sine wave), a second analogue filter (modelled on Roland's classic TB-303 bassline synth), an analogue effects section, a pattern-based sequencer and arpeggiator and much more!

As an original Bass Station owner, I can confirm that the new Bass Station II still has the distinct character of the original, but just adds more features to bring it right up to date. In my opinion, for under £400 it's a real steal!

Our first shipment of Bass Station IIs will be landing with us THIS MONTH, so get your pre-order in quickly if you want to be one of the first to get your hands on one!
