Native Instruments Maschine
The massively popular NI Maschine has just been given a refresh and upgrade with large colour screens, smart strip and an on-board audio interface.

The new NI Maschine MK3, for those that are not familiar, is an integrated hardware/software system that includes sampler, arranger, mixer, FX, and more. Straight out of the box, or by looking at the photos, you can see that this is a significant upgrade, the pads are larger, the screens have had a major improvement (boasting vivid colours and improved viewing angle) and the addition of a ‘smart strip’ for strumming notes, pitch bending sounds and performing with FX is very much welcomed.

Under the hood the Native Instruments Maschine MK3 can control 25 pro-quality studio and creative effects including EQ, delay, reverb and compressor as well as the included 25GB bundle of 11 premium instruments in the Komplete 11 Select package. Owners of the Maschine MK3 will also have access to the 8GB Maschine library of samples, one-shots, sliced-loops, sampled instruments, patterns, presents, kits and songs.

One of the completely new features to the Maschine MK3 is the inclusion of an on-board 96 kHz / 24-bit audio interface with 2 x ¼” TRS line outputs, 2 x ¼” TRS line inputs, ¼” dynamic mic input, stereo headphone output. Plus the usual MIDI In and out and a Footswitch. This new addition is a step forward by Native Instruments in making their units more of an ‘all-in-one’ box.

The Native Instruments Maschine MK3 is compatible with all the major DAWs (such as Ableton Live, Logic Pro X, FL Studio etc), either as a VST or Audio Units plugin with full multi-core support. On the subject of connectivity, the Maschine MK3 is powered by USB, or with the included PSU. The Classic Groovebox feature includes 16 velocity levels, swing, pad link, note repeat, step sequencer, and the vintage MPC 60/SP 1200 sampling emulation.

As mentioned above, this launch comes alongside the announcement of the new S49 and S61 keyboard controllers, which shares many of the same upgrades such as the smart strip, colour screens and control over Logic Pro X, Ableton Live and GarageBand. It has also been announced that there is additional deep integration with Kontrol hardware and software.

The new Native Instruments Maschine MK3 units will be the same price as their MK2 predecessors. We are expecting these to be in stock on 5th October so get your order in now!
