Line 6 Helix LT
For the last 20 years Line 6 have gone from strength to strength and cemented their reputation for making amps and pedals with impressive processing & modelling technology. The new Line 6 Helix LT pedal utilises the same technology used in the popular Helix Floor and Helix Rack units but this time they have put it in a more accessible multi fx pedal box with an improved user interface.

Each guitar amp model on the Helix LT has been captured and matched to the real thing with shocking pristine accuracy. With the reputable Helix sound quality and 123 dB of dynamic
range, Helix LT promises an authentic playing experience for guitarists.

As mentioned above, the new Line 6 Helix LT features an improved user interface that enables tone editing and creation on the fly with easy interaction—all with a minimal learning curve and reducing the amount of flicking through complex menus. The large 6.2”, 800x480-Pixel LCD screen really brings it all to life and lays out the signal chain as well as providing access to amp and effects parameters, while colored LED rings convey the status of each of the 8 parameter footswitches at a glance.

At present there are 62 Amps, 37 Cabs, 16 Microphones, and 104 Effects built into the Line 6 Helix LT, with many more to be added via downloadable updates. If you are a Line 6 Variax user you will be pleased to know that you can also control the tones, and tunings, of your guitar on the Helix LT pedal. Furthermore, if you already use any of the other Helix products (Helix Floor, Helix Rack, and the Helix Native plug-in) Line 6 promises easy integration and migration of your presets.

When you pick the unit up and have a look around you will immediately notice the vast array of connectivity options on the rear of the pedal. For example, the addition of real time MIDI control, which can send up to six separate commands at preset recall, enabling you to, for example, change a preset on a synth, start a sequencer, and turn up a fader on an external digital mixer with a single press of a footswitch. There’s also two assignable effects loops, two (Left/Mono and Right) XLR outputs to connect to your studio gear or the house mixer, PA or FRFR speaker(s) when playing live. As well as all of this there is the usual ¼” outputs, headphones sockets and a digital output for connecting to Line 6 StageSource monitors or DT-series amps.

We now have the Line 6 Helix LT floor unit in stock and ready for you to come and give it a test flight. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to get in touch and one of our experts will be more than happy to discuss this incredible guitar processor with you.
