Fender Noir

Back in January, Fender made a bunch of product announcements at the NAMM trade show in America, one of the most intriguing announcements at the mid-level price point was the unveiling of the Noir range, and they have finally arrived.

Taking the form of three of the most popular body shapes (Stratocater, Telecaster and Precision Bass) the Fender Noir range sits nicely alongside their standard line and are among the first available models to feature Pao Ferro fingerboards as an alternative to rosewood (mostly due to the logistic nightmare that is the recent CITES regulation put on rosewood).

Fender Noir Strat

The Special Edition Noir Stratocaster HSS guitar combines legendary Fender tone with classic styling. The noir edition is available in a Satin Black finish with matching headcap and unique Black pickguard with striking Red center layer, this elegant and affordable classic also includes a huge-sounding humbucking bridge pickup. Time-honored Fender style and performance-minded modern upgrades don’t have to break the bank, and this model delivers the best of both for any player.

Noir Telecaster

Professional guitarists in all musical genres have relied on the Fender Telecaster guitar since its early 1950s introduction for its powerful tone and smooth playability. The Fender Noir Telecaster is now available in a Satin Black finish with matching headcap and unique Black pickguard with contrasting Red center layer, the Standard Telecaster combines the best of old and new. Other features include high-output single-coil pickups, shielded body cavities, medium jumbo frets, a six-saddle string-through-body bridge, cast/sealed tuners, tinted neck and parchment pickguard and control knobs, along with a '70s-style headstock logo.

Fender Noir P Bass

Last but not least, the Special Edition Noir Precision Bass is an elegant and affordable classic designed for the bassist who appreciates sleek style and muscular tone. It comes in the same Satin Black finish with matching headstock and black pickguard with red center layer, this bass is sure to make a statement on stage or in the studio. This modern take on a classic bass features a Modern C shape maple neck with 20 medium jumbo frets.

As mentioned earlier, these are priced to sit alongside the standard range (currently, these Noir models are £517 each) but make no mistake, there is nothing standard about how these special editions will look on stage, they are incredible looking guitars and we love the satin finish, they are certainly an interesting departure from the usual Fender colours. These fantastic Fender guitars are in stock and available to buy online or in-store now, but be quick because we will only have one of each model!
