CLAVIA NORD PIANO 88 - STRINGS ARE THE THING
On a real piano all the notes you play affect each other and it’s the same in the Nord Piano. Thanks to its String Resonance technology, the Nord Piano reproduces the beautiful dynamic sound of a real piano with uncanny accuracy. On a real piano, playing the same key repeatedly with the same force causes a crescendo effect as the hammers hit the vibrating string in various phases causing gentle fluctuations in volume and tone and it’s the same in the Nord Piano. It’s an amazing effect to hear from an electronic instrument. For rock and pop, however, when a more dry and direct sound might be desired, simply turn the String Resonance off.

CLAVIA NORD PIANO 88 - PEDDLING THE PEDALING
The new Piano Pedal is a brilliant addition and you can experiment with various effects by pressing and releasing it in different ways.
• Slip your foot off the sustain pedal, allowing the spring to return with full force and a noticeable sound will appear.
• The ‘floor sound’ can be heard when the pedal reaches the bottom of its travel.
• If you lift the pedal and immediately press it down again, a very rich sound will be heard.
And these are just three of the different sounds it can give you. Go on, stomp on it. It will definitely bring a smile to your face!
