So, enough about the look and feel, how does it work and sound? Well, despite the technology inside, the Line 6 James Tyler Variax is dead easy to set up and get going. With a twist of the simple Selector knob, you can transform the JTV’s tone, choosing any of the 25 award-winning electric and acoustic guitar models. One flick and you’re playing a classic 1960 Fender Custom Tele, another flick and you’ve got a 70s Gibson Firebird, another and you can indulge in the clangy tones of a Gretsch Silver Jet, another click and you’re strumming a gorgeous Martin D-18 acoustic.
