YAMAHA CUSTOM DRUM KITS

Yamaha have announced two new colours of their classic Recording Custom kit and two new colours of their Birch Shell Stage Custom drumkit. These new models were announced at Musikmesse 2012.

The Recording Custom kit is now available in Deep Blue and Antique Sunburst colours (also available in Cherry Wood and Solid Black). The Birch Shell Stage Custom kit is now available in Matte Black and Honey Amber finishes (also available in Raven Black, Natural Wood and Cranberry).

The Recording Custom kit is possibly the most recorded drumkit in history. It is constructed from beautiful birch shells with a great interior and exterior finish and the kit delivers a sound that seems 'pre-EQed', so it is ideal for studio or multi-miking situations. However, even in unmiked instances, it is still more than powerful enough to punch through a mix. In fact, our Drum Manager Austin describes the Recording Custom as his 'desert island drumkit!'

Yamaha Stage Custom kits borrow from the Recording Custom kit, but provide you with a much more affordable package.
