YAMAHA ANNOUNCE LIVE CUSTOM DRUM SERIES

Yamaha have announced a brand new series of Oak Custom drum kits, designed to produce a HUGE sound that won't get lost on stage. In fact, Yamaha Live Custom kits are the only kits that have 100% Oak shells and they are the first high-end kits to come out of Yamaha's brand new state-of-the-art factory. Their thick Oak shells contribute towards a fantastic booming sound with great depth, projection and clarity.

To refine the sound of the kits, Yamaha made sure that they did their research, working closely with industry experts and musicians. However, it's not just the sound where Yamaha Live Custom drum kits excel - they also look great with their black nickel-plated hardware and beautiful laquer finishes. The snare drum also has a redesigned throw-off and butt plate with a stronger, smoother action. The floor tom leg bracket also features a stronger vertical bolt and the bridge design has no adverse effect on the tone. The lightweight bass drum pipe-clamp mount also has a lower profile than the previous model.
