The Korg Wavedrum Global features the most cutting-edge sounds of any Wavedrum model, with sought-after percussive hits from around the world. However, as well as improved sound, the Wavedrum Global also features some handy 'usability' updates, which makes this the most expressive Wavedrum to date.

The Korg Wavedrum Global joins the current Wavedrum family, which includes the Wavedrum WD-X, the Wavedrum Oriental (with added Arabic sounds) and the Wavedrum Mini (with its awesome little sensor clip).

The Korg Wavedrum Global features increased pickup precision for improved dynamic range when playing high or low pitches, plus a better response when playing softer sounds. The Wavedrum Global also allows you to trigger different sounds from the head and rim, and you can also apply pressure to the head for special performance effects.

The Korg Wavedrum Global comes with 200 preset programs, covering a huge range of sounds from acoustic percussion to unique electronic sounds! Plus, there are a further 200 user programs for storing your own preset percussion sounds!

The Wavedrum Global adds a new input sensitivity parameter, which supports a wide range of users, from beginners to pros. It features 140 loop phrases from various genres, which are perfect for jamming along to, and the Wavedrum Global also has an aux input for monitoring or mixing any audio source.
