Kimberly Thompson is one of the worlds greatest and most versatile drummers, having worked with some of the biggest names in Jazz, Soul, Funk, Hip Hop, R&B and Pop. In this short interview, Kimberly and her producer Benedetto 'Nino' Caccavale express why they rate Focusrite preamps so much, and there is even a short video showing how she works.

In her set-up, Kimberly uses a Focusrite Liquid Saffire 56 and a pair of OctoPre MkII Dynamic 8 channel preamps with compression.
