NUMARK GO WIRELESS WITH THE FUTURISTIC ORBIT DJ CONTROLLER

It looks like some kind of time travelling device from the hit TV series Red Dwarf, but this is actually a new wireless handheld MIDI DJ controller from Numark! Numark say that you can perform with the Orbit in your hand, strapped to your body, hung around your neck (Flava Flav style!) or placed on a table! Ingenious!
Despite its size, the Orbit crams in a shed-load of controls, including 16 backlit pads, 4 selectable banks and 16 virtual knobs per bank. The Orbit can be connected to a computer via USB (which also charges it) or if you're after maximum flexibility, it can operate over an ultra-low-latency 2.4 GHz wireless connection. The Orbit is definitely for the performer that wants to stand out in new and creative ways.

The controls of the Numark Orbit can be used to blend effects, launch hot cues and samples and much more. In the centre of the Orbit is a large aluminium-faced touch-sensitive control wheel, which can be used to alter the Orbit's virtual knobs for quick parameter-tweaking. For example, assign it to a filter cutoff and away you go!
