ABSOLUTE MUSIC 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS!

That's right! This month and up until Christmas, we will be celebrating our 10 YEAR anniversary! To say thank you to all those that have supported us and are continuing to support us, we've collected together a shed-load of prizes that we'll be giving away throughout December. There are also a number of special in-store events, we're giving away FREE gifts AND there will be a '10% off' sale in our pro-music store on selected products. Read on to find out more...

10th ANNIVERSARY COMPETITIONS!

Entering one of our competitions is easy, although it does require you to possess a Facebook page.

As well as our main Facebook page, which shares social posts, local news and a selection of our best offers (CLICK HERE to visit it), we also have dedicated department Facebook pages for Guitars, Drums and Pro Audio (which brings together news relating to computer music, recording, live sound, synths, keyboards and DJ gear).

All you need to do to put yourself in with a chance of winning one of these prizes is to 'like' one or more of our dedicated department Facebook pages. Each page will be handing out relevant prizes (e.g. liking the 'Drums' page will put you in with a chance of winning drum gear, liking the 'Guitars' page will put you in with a chance of winning guitar gear and liking the 'Pro Audio' page will put you in with a chance of winning pro audio gear). If you already like one or more of these pages then there's no need to do anything as you will automatically be entered into the relevant competition(s)!

The reason that we took the decision to create per-department Facebook pages was so that someone who is only interested in one particular area of music will be able to choose exactly what news and deals they hear about, without having to sift through irrelevant posts. However, if you're interested in more than one area, feel free to 'like' multiple pages and put yourself in with a chance of winning a bigger range of gear.

We'll be selecting winners at random from our dedicated department Facebook followers and announcing them every Monday before Christmas during December. Please note that it will be up to you to check our Facebook pages on these dates to find out if you are one of our lucky winners so put these dates in your diary and remember to check back: 2nd December, 9th December, 16th December and 23rd December. All prizes must be claimed before the end of the year.

• We will be making one draw per page on each Monday in December 2013 before Christmas (2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd), making 12 draws in total
• For each draw, a follower (or followers) of each page will be chosen at random to each win a prize relevant to that page

• Winners will be announced on each of the relevant pages on the day of the draw

During the months of November and December, we've catered for the needs of guitarists, drummers and synth enthusiasts, with a number of special 10th anniversary events, all based in our huge pro-music store in Bournemouth (CLICK HERE to find us). Robbie McIntosh is famed for being Paul McCartney's guitarist of choice, playing in the Pretenders and working with other artists such as John Mayer, Mark Knopfler, Tom Jones and many more... and on 20th November he will be joining us in our pro-music superstore for a special guitar clinic. We'll be joined in our pro-music superstore by a selection of the Korg team, who will be on hand all day alongside a selection of their current synths (MS-20 Mini, Volcas, Monotrons, Monotribe, etc.), which will be set up for you to demo. If you've got any questions on any Korg product then this is also the perfect opportunity to get them answered.

• DRUM HANG - WEDNESDAY 11th DECEMBER 2013

Our drum manager, Austin Lane, has organised a special FREE get-together in our Bournemouth superstore for all local drummers, percussionists and drum teachers! Feel free to pop down and mingle with like-minded musicians, share techniques and stories and even grab some free drinks and mince pies!

The event will run from around 6:30pm-10pm, so feel free to pop down as we would love to see you.
