STEINBERG ANNOUNCE UR22 INTERFACE

Steinberg have announced a brand new compact audio/MIDI interface, the UR22, which is due to start shipping in February and will be retailing for around £121. Not long to wait then!
Housed in a metal casing, this 2-input, 2-output USB 2.0 powered interface provides high-quality audio up to 24-bit, 192 kHz! It features two high-quality D-PRE microphone preamps (taken from Steinberg's MR and FW interfaces) with Phantom Power along with two analogue TRS outputs. Both inputs of the UR22 also accept line level signals and Input 2 can also be switched to Hi-Z mode for recording an electric guitar or bass.
The Steinberg UR22 will be compatible with all major DAWs and will ship with Cubase AI, which will also give you a cheaper upgrade option to the full version of the powerful Cubase 7 DAW should you decide to go down this path.
