NEW GENELEC MONITORS - M030 & M040

Genelec have announced that they will be releasing a new series of affordable, yet high-quality studio monitors. The M030 and M040 have been specifically designed for home-studio owners, DJs, and semi-professional producers. Their compact size also makes them ideal for producers that need a portable production option and they feature automatic voltage selection so are great if you're crossing continents.

Coming from a company that is renowned for designing professional studio monitors, you can be sure that the M030 and M040 will give you fantastic sound reproduction. Both sets of speakers in Genelec's new M Series are designed to give an excellent bass response, as well as reproduce detailed sounds across the entire spectrum.

We're also pleased to announce that Genelec have sustainability in mind with the design of the M030 and M040. Both models are built from all-recyclable material and both will go to 'sleep' after a sustained period of inactivity, consuming less than 0.5W when in this state. Two finishes will be available for each model - black and patterned.

The Genelec M030 is the smaller of the two monitors, featuring a 5" woofer and 3/4" tweeter and a frequency response of 58Hz-20kHz. Its bigger and more powerful brother on the other hand (the M040) has a 6.5 inch woofer, 1 inch tweeter and a frequency response of 48Hz-20kHz.
