MASCHINE 1.8.2 UPDATE

Native Instruments have announced a free 1.8.2 update for their hugely popular Maschine and Maschine Mikro production stations. This update, which can be used with both Mk1 and Mk2 models, adds a number of improvements to bolster the already impressive feature-set of Maschine stations.

Version 1.8.2 improvements include:

• Optimised sample start and end editing.

• 'Duplicate' function now identical in Maschine Mikro and Maschine.

• 1.5.3 Controller Editor, which improves stability on all Maschine templates for Traktor Pro, Mackie Control and Ableton Live 8. Please note that this will affect the functionality of the physical MIDI ports of Maschine in MIDI mode. For more details please click here.

• Content browsing and plug-in hosting bug fixes.

• Full documentation in English, French, German, Spanish, and Japanese.

To install the Maschine 1.8.2 update, open your NI Service Center application/program, open the 'Update' tab and make sure that the checkbox next to 'MASCHINE' is ticked. Then click the 'Download' button and when the download is finished, unzip the files and run the installer!
