KRK ANNOUNCE ROKIT GENERATION 3 MONITORS

KRK have just announced that their hugely popular range of Rokit monitors have been given a third generation re-design. Introducing KRK Rokit Powered G3 studio monitors...

Keeping with the iconic design of other KRK products, these generation 3 monitors retain that striking yellow driver with black cabinet, but are now built to sound better and be more accurate than their predecessors. Whilst KRK G2 speakers were extremely popular, especially with dance music producers and DJS, who were drawn to their BIG bass, their slightly duller high-end response made them less useful for producers of delicate acoustic music and other such genres. The third generation of KRK's Rokit monitors rectify this, with a new soft-dome tweeter, which can extend right up to 35Hz! This makes RP G3 speakers a much more versatile and accurate monitoring option whatever type of music you are working with. Don't worry though, they've still got that deep bass that made them so popular in the first place!

With the new Rokit Generation 3 monitors, there are also both high and low frequency controls for adjusting the speaker's sound to your particular mixing environment, as well as a new cabinet design, which helps further reduce distortion caused by the diffraction effect (a problem with speakers with sharp edges).

Just like the generation 2 models, KRK Rokit Powered G3 speakers will be available in three different sizes (the RP5 G3, RP6 G3 and the largest and bassiest RP8 G3) to fit different budgets, environments and needs.
