The Allen & Heath Qu-16 really seems to have raised the bar when it comes to digital mixing. Whether you're working live or in the studio, the Qu-16 is packed with quality professional features to help you get the job done. The Qu-16 features 16 mono inputs, 3 stereo inputs, 4 stereo FX returns, 16 busses, 12 mix outputs, 4 FX engines, motorised faders, an 800 x 480 touchscreen, compatibility with the new Qu-Pad iPad app, USB audio streaming, DAW MIDI control, a built-in signal generator and MUCH more!

The Qu-16 features 16 AnalogiQ preamps with total recall, zero-crossing detection and an advanced padless 1dB step gain stage. They capture your audio signal via high-class, low latency 24-bit analogue to digital converters, matched to similar D/A converters at the output stages.
The Qu-16 has been ergonomically designed to ensure that the mixing experience is as intuitive and smooth as possible. As we mentioned, it even features a touchscreen where you can make quick edits to more in-depth parameters and settings. On top of this, Allen & Heath have condensed all your most common processing tools into an area that they have dubbed the 'SuperStrip'! Here, each function has its own individual control, ensuring that it's super fast to make edits.
To ensure that you get true Total Recall, the Qu-16 is fitted with motorised faders, which instantly reposition themselves to mirror the settings of the mixer. This is useful if, for example, you are switching between mixes with different send levels. The Qu-16 features 17 of these moving faders.
The Qu-16 features built-in dynamics and effects from Allen & Heath's iLive professional touring series, so you can be sure that you are getting top quality. In fact, the Qu-16 has no less than 4 stereo FX engines with a selection of classic reverbs, delays, modulators, flangers, etc. Essentially, you get everything you need to put the final polish on your mix.
As we have already mentioned, the Qu-16 has a built-in interface that allows you to stream multitrack audio to your Mac. The returns from the Mac can also be assigned to the 16 Mono channels plus stereos. The Qu-16 is plug-and-play so there is no need to install any drivers and it will work straight away with all big name DAWs (e.g. Logic, Cubase, Reaper, Pro Tools). Using the USB connection you can also create MIDI mappings, allowing you to control your mixes with the faders of the Qu-16.
