The Alesis iO Mix gives you a hardware mixer with an iPad dock for recording up to four channels of audio onto your iPad, transforming it into a powerful portable studio. With the iO Mix, you can record multiple microphones or instruments directly into compatible apps such as GarageBand. The Alesis iO Mix was announced at Musikmesse 2012.
The iO Mix features four combo 1/4" Jack/XLR input channels and balanced stereo 1/4" outputs and it also has a video output, making it ideal for 'everything from presentations and corporate meetings to home entertainment and live performance visuals.'
The iO Mix features 2-band EQ, pan and level dials on each channel and displays the touchscreen of the iPad in a convenient position above the main mixer controls, for easy access to the parameters of your favourite apps.
