Best Original Song Finalists
Posted on Tue 17 October 2017 in Anniversary 2017
We received a lot of entries for the Best Original Song competition, and we have be blown away by the quality and creativity of the songs that were entered. Listening to these songs was an absolute pleasure, which made it tricky to only pick a small handful of finalists, but we got there.
The lucky winner of this competition will win a RME Fireface UFX II, a 60 channel USB2.0 audio interface (current retail price is around £1,791) that will serve as a center point for any professional recording studio, capturing crystal clear audio at 24 bit/192kHz. But the prizes don't stop there, second prize is a pair of Adam A5x Studio Monitors (worth £678) and third prize is a copy of Steinberg Cubase Pro 9 (currently £429), an industry standard in recording software.
We have listened to every song entered, it was obviously not an easy task to compare songs of such varying genres, we had techno, R'n'B, jazz, doom metal, singer-songwriter, indie, minimalist electro...basically everything you can imagine! The judges decision is final but we will take comments and votes (in the comments section below) into consideration. In no particular order, here are the finalists for our Best Original Song competition...
